Employees Compensation

According to Section 40 of the Employees’ Compensation Ordinance, all employers are required to take out insurance policies to cover their liabilities both under the Ordinance and at common law. If an employee sustains an injury or dies as a result of an accident arising out of and in the course of his employment, or by prescribed occupational diseases, his employer is in general liable to pay compensation under the Ordinance. The Insurance provides protection to employers against liability at law &/or under Common Law.
